Just had a great time with the 200+ members who joined us for a Zoom Appearance for their 2022 READ AND EXPLORE-West with Giraffes. We had fun talking and fielding questions with its director Nancy Kennedy about the novel, its writing process, its plot twist decisions, and even chatted about the White Board seen below. They had a terrific lineup for entire month that included lectures by professors about such things as the Dust Bowl and Life During the Depression, as well as a webinar with the giraffe keeper at their Greenville Zoo, who just celebrated the first birthday of their baby giraffe Providence.
